Avatar Banshee Series

Through a process called Tsaheylu, the Na'vi of Pandora bond for life with the ferocious-looking ikran, or banshee (as named by the RDA). Once bonded, banshees and their Na'vi partners embark on spectacular aerial adventures - sometimes to hunt, sometimes for the joy of flight. Young Omatikaya warriors seek out their banshee in the rookery high in the Hallelujah Mountains. Atop the largest of the floating mountains, the brave Na'vi make pilgrimages to choose – and be chosen by – a banshee.

Jake's Banshee
‍This 3D animated figure features Jake's trusted Banshee. Once Jake caught and bonded with the ikran, the two leapt off to a rocky start in the air as Jake learned how to fly his new mount. Together, the two have flown through hunts, battles, and numerous adventures throughout the Pandoran landscape.

Once bonded, the banshees nest in the upper branches of Hometree so they may be close to their riders. ‍Quaritch's Banshee
‍This 3D figure of Quaritch's banshee wears special tactical gear designed by the RDA. Miles Quaritch, in his recombinant form, had planned to tame a banshee with tranquilizers and subterfuge. But as he approached one in the Hallelujah Mountains, the two fought and fell together off of a cliff. As they fell, Quaritch managed to bond with the ikran and later outfitted him with military-grade gear.
