HEROES BE DAMNED Synopsis:
During the height of the superhero zeitgeist of the 1990s, an elite class of super-powered beings rule the hearts and minds of the people. They also control the streets and skies of major cities across the globe, using their super-human abilities to tamp down crime and injustice. Led by the seemingly invincible American hero Victory—a burly 75 year-old widely recognized as the world’s first superhero—a team of capes known as V-Force enjoy the trust of the world’s citizens… except for the rare few who understand the true and devastating cost of living among beings who wield such potent powers.
Then, one day, the unthinkable happens, and the same heroes who are known for fighting valiantly to protect humanity begin dying in violent, sadistic ways. Soon, it’s clear that these deaths are not anomalies… and they’re not going to stop until the brutal and relentless killer known as Loathe exacts the revenge he seeks.
