The next offering in VeVe’s digital comic line-up continues with a new release digital collectible comic from Disney — Christmas on Bear Mountain, fully readable, with five covers in blind box format.

In this story, Uncle Scrooge tests his nephew Donald Duck’s courage in an effort to make the holidays a little more interesting. This is a fun and festive Christmas story with an unexpected ending you’ll have to read to enjoy!

Main Cover
This is the very first cover of “Christmas on Bear Mountain,” first published in America in December 1947. Comic artist Dan Gormley created this cover for Donald Duck Four Color number 178.

Return cover
This cover, first published in 2008, was created to celebrate the story “Another Christmas on Bear Mountain,” in which Scrooge returns to the past to relive the night he dressed up as a ferocious bear to surprise Donald and test his nephew’s fortitude.

Originally the cover to Donald Duck Adventures [Series II], this image portrays the moment in which the mother bear enters Scrooge's cabin looking for her cub. How did her cub get into Scrooge’s cabin? Will the ducks make it out of this situation unscathed? Read to find out!

This cover, published for the first time in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories 608, shows Uncle Scrooge as a misanthropic duck with a great amount of money and an even greater amount of boredom, plotting ways to shake things up by testing his nephew's bravery.

Originally published in Italian magazine, Zio Paperone 75, in December 1995, this illustration shows Scrooge with his iconic tartan hat. Behind him stands Bear Mountain, the site of countless Duckburg sagas and shenanigans since its very first appearance in 1947.

Waitlist Drop - Blind Box

Waitlist will open 12 hours before drop time. If you enter the Waitlist and are lucky enough to secure a reservation, you will have 7 minutes to complete the purchase process. If you do not complete the purchase, your collectible reservation will be returned to the public pool and be available for users to purchase directly from the VeVe Store. ‍This digital comic will be available for purchase as a blind box, meaning you won’t know which rarity you have acquired until after your successful purchase.

MCP Priority Bidding

Upon entering the drop Waitlist, Collectors can opt to redeem Master Collector Program Points to bid on priority Waitlist selection for a collectible reservation. After a bid is placed, Collectors can increase their bid, and/or withdraw their bid up until the Waitlist closes.

At drop time, the highest bidders will be awarded a collectible reservation for the opportunity to complete their purchase using Gems at the Store price. At this point users MCP Points are deducted from their MCP points balance. If users decide not to make a purchase, their MCP Points WILL NOT be refunded.

If a Collector is NOT successful in securing a collectible reservation using Priority Bidding, their MCP Points WILL NOT be deducted. These Collectors are considered in the Waitlist entry pool and still have a chance to win the drop via normal Waitlist selection logic.

Note: Collectors will only be able to secure a single purchase per successful reservation. Additional collectibles can be purchased after the reservation period ends, if inventory is available.
