Main Cover

The very first version of this cover illustration was drawn by Marco Rota in 1983. Lightning rips across the sky behind Donald in his very first Duck Avenger suit: black tights, flowing cloak, and his iconic blue hat. The city skyline—the backdrop of Donald’s misadventures—glitters behind him.

Avenger Cover
This illustration by Dave Alvarez was featured as one of the variant covers of the Duck Avenger comic in the U.S. in 2015. Donald, as the Duck Avenger, springs into action in front of a bright full moon.

Italian Cover
This is the original cover created by Giovan Battista Carpi for a 1974 anthology of stories featuring “The Diabolical Duck Avenger.” Donald's alter-ego keeps his eyes on the horizon, precariously perched on a rooftop while a helpful cat puts his paws into action. The Duck Avenger dons a multi-colored suit and a mask to hide his true identity.

Diabolical Cover
This cover was initially published in Italy in 2005 for the first issue of a collection of volumes starring the Duck Avenger. Created by Italian artist Marco Gervasio and colored by Max Monteduro, the cover features The Duck Avenger charging toward the reader with the determined look of a fearless superhero.

Moon
This illustration, created by Andrea Freccero and colored by Max Monteduro, was published in Italy in 2017 as the cover for an entire volume of stories dedicated to the Duck Avenger. This cover features the original Italian name of the Duck Avenger: Paperinik. Donald, in his caped disguise, stands resolute on a rooftop with his arms crossed in front of a full moon.
