The Collection is inspired by the original artwork used to create Disneyland® Resort posters which have been fan favorites for more than 60 years.
The hope and promise of the future can be found in the Tomorrowland® area at Disneyland® Park. These Disneyland® Resort posters represent some of the most iconic and memorable attractions from the early days of the Tomorrowland® area and are beautiful works of art, framed and ready for virtual display. Each is based on an original poster that was created to represent some of the attractions in the Tomorrowland® area.
Disneyland Monorail
The first daily operating monorail system, not just in America, but the entire Western hemisphere, the Disneyland® Park Monorail debuted in 1959 and originally carried passengers on an eight-tenths-of-a-mile loop around the Tomorrowland® area. In 1961, the track was expanded to its current 2.5-mile route, which originally dropped guests off at the Disneyland® Hotel. That station is now in the Downtown Disney® District.

Debuting in 1967 as part of the New Tomorrowland® area, the PeopleMover attraction featured a then-innovative technology consisting of electronic motors that propelled the vehicles along an elevated pathway that provided guests with previews of several attractions. Versions of the attraction, which closed at Disneyland® Park in 1995, still operate at the Magic Kingdom® Park at the Walt Disney World® Resort and Houston International Airport.

Space Station X-1
The concept for the Space Station X-1 attraction was simple: guests would “see America from outer space.” To do this, they would step on a rotating platform that represented a space station 90 miles above earth. The three-minute presentation, in blacklight, featured a simulated dawn-to-dusk journey across the United States, ending with a sunset in California. An Opening Day attraction, it operated until early 1960.
