If you love collecting on VeVe, this one is for you.
We are excited to roll out a complete overhaul of the Collection section across the VeVe app and desktop experience. This update is all about clarity, insight, and helping collectors truly understand how they collect.
As Dan Crothers, COO and Co-Founder of VeVe, puts it, “This is something that has been due for an overhaul for quite some time and we’ve been looking forward to getting this out in your hands.”
From smarter breakdowns to cleaner visuals and powerful new insights, the updated Collection view turns your vault into something you can actually explore.
*NOTE: Mobile users will be required to update their app to access this new feature, when it goes live on Friday January 30th at 9am PT.
The first thing you will notice is a new high level breakdown at the top of the Collection view. Collectors can instantly see how their collection is spread across collectibles, comics, and artworks.
“It will tell you what percentage in each category that you own of collectibles, comics and artwork,” Dan explains.
Right below that, three dedicated tabs make it easier to focus on exactly what you want to explore. Collectibles. Comics. Sets.
No digging. No guesswork. Just clear entry points into your collection.
Dive into the Collectibles tab and you will unlock a new level of insight.
With the new Details view, collectors can now see how many collectibles they own in total, how many are unique, how many sets they have, and how those pieces break down by rarity.
“As I scroll down I can see how many collectibles I own in total, and how many unique sets I own. The number of sets I have and what distribution of rarities I own,” says Dan.
You can also see how many of your sets are complete, which makes it easier to track progress and set new collecting goals.
It is a cleaner, smarter way to understand your collecting habits at a glance.
The Comics tab also gets a meaningful upgrade.
Across the top, collectors can now see the comics they are actively reading, track progress, mark issues as finished, or jump right back in where they left off.
“As you come down further, it’s going to start listing all of the comics that I actually own,” Dan explains.
The Details section adds even more value, offering a full breakdown of your comic collection. That includes owned comics, comic sets, rarity distribution, comic ages, and one especially helpful insight.
“I can also see how many comics I have unread,” Dan adds.
For collectors who love both reading and collecting, this brings everything together in one intuitive place.
If there is a standout feature in this update, it is the redesigned Sets view.
“Now this is probably my favorite part of the upgrade,” says Dan. “It’s really one of the first times we’ve surfaced all of the sets in a very clean and easy way for you to navigate.”
By default, sets are sorted by incomplete first. Visual indicators clearly show how many items you own and how many are left to complete each set.
Even better, collectors can take action instantly.
“I can click on any one of these sets and directly from the set page I can basically go straight into the market and I can make a purchase,” Dan explains. “If I wanted to complete that set I would simply click buy and then my set would be complete.”
No more bouncing between screens. No more wondering what you are missing. It is collecting with confidence.
This Collection view overhaul is more than a visual refresh. It is a meaningful upgrade designed around how collectors actually use VeVe.
From tracking reading progress to understanding rarity distribution, from spotting missing set pieces to celebrating completed collections, everything is now easier to see and easier to enjoy.
Dan sums it up, “I really hope you enjoy this collection update. I know I personally have and as usual happy collecting.”
We cannot wait for you to dive in and explore your collection like never before.
This Collection overhaul is part of a broader effort to make collecting on VeVe more intentional and more rewarding. By giving collectors clearer visibility into what they own, what they are missing, and how their sets come together, this update lays important groundwork for how loyalty systems like the Master Collector Program can continue to evolve.
“Loyalty programs are a key focus going into 2026,” says Corey Truax, Head of Brand & Engagement at VeVe. “I want people to wake up, look at their MCP points, and start thinking about how they can boost their daily points, because those points really matter to them. That might be completing a set, clearing a comic run, or tracking down that final variant.”
MCP points already play a role in areas like Waitlist Priority and crafting, and clearer collection insights help connect those rewards more naturally to real collecting behavior. Not as an obligation, but as an extension of how collectors already engage with VeVe.
This update is not about changing why people collect. It is about giving collectors better tools to understand their journey, make informed choices, and recognize progress along the way.
The future of collecting continues to take shape, and if you’re reading this, you’re ahead of the curve.
