Announcing the Inaugural VeVe Community Awards

As part of our 5th birthday celebrations, we’re excited to introduce something new: the first ever VeVe Community Awards.

These awards are designed to recognize the creativity, passion, and dedication that fuel the VeVe fam every day. From the die-hard collectors to the best meme creators, we’re shining a spotlight on the people who make this community so special.

The awards will culminate at our 5th birthday event at DCon in Las Vegas this November, where we’ll reveal the winners and present them with their very own personalized VeVe trophy. 

Because these awards recognise our awesome VeVe community, we need your help in choosing the winners. You’ll have the ability to nominate and then vote for who you believe best embodies the criteria for each award category.

Award Categories & Criteria

Here’s the full list of award categories, along with what we’ll be looking for:

1. VeVe’s Most Die-Hard Fan

For the ultimate supporter who lives and breathes VeVe every day.
Criteria: 

• Consistently supports VeVe across our channels (VeVe app, Discord, social media, etc.). 
• Shows unwavering support for VeVe at events, through drops, and in the community.
• Promotes VeVe positively within and outside the community.

2. VeVe’s Biggest Collector at Heart

Not just about quantity, it’s about passion. Recognizes someone who truly loves collecting and sharing that passion with others.

Criteria: 

• Not necessarily the largest collection by value, but someone who truly loves collecting.
• Demonstrates passion for comics, collectibles, and the culture around them.
• Engages with the community through sharing, trading, or teaching.

3. Best VeVe Meme

Because no community is complete without humor! Celebrating the funniest, most creative memes that capture the spirit of VeVe.

Criteria: 

• Original, funny, and relevant to VeVe culture.
• Widely shared or appreciated within the community.
• Keeps community spirit high while being respectful.
• Include a screenshot/s to help demonstrate why your nominee should be selected. 

4. Best OMI Meme

Our OMI fam deserves their own spotlight, rewarding memes that make us laugh, inspire, and reflect the token community’s energy.

Criteria: 

• Creative and humorous content centered on the OMI token.
• Captures community sentiment in a lighthearted way.
• Memes are original or have a clever twist on existing formats.
• Include a screenshot/s to help demonstrate why your nominee should be selected. 

5. Best VeVeVerse Space

For the most imaginative and engaging VeVeVerse creation. 

Criteria: 

• Creates unique, creative, and engaging spaces within the VeVeVerse.
• Functionality, design, and themes are unique and innovative.
• Creates spaces that are Interactive or welcoming to visitors (community-focused).
• Include a screenshot/s to help demonstrate why your nominee should be selected. 

6. Best AR Content Shared

Augmented Reality magic! Recognizing the best use of VeVe’s AR features, content that brings collectibles into the real world in innovative ways.

Criteria: 

• Innovative and high-quality use of VeVe’s AR features.
• Original concepts that bring collectibles to life in the real world.
• Shared with the community in a way that inspires others.
• Include a screenshot/s to help demonstrate why your nominee should be selected. 

7. Best New Collector

Highlighting fresh faces! 

Criteria: 

• Must have joined VeVe and made their first purchase since 1 January 2025.
• Quickly became an active, positive member of the community.
• Shows passion for collecting and engaging with others.

8. VeVe Discord Moderator of the Year

For the mods who keep our spaces safe, welcoming, and fun. Recognized for fairness, helpfulness, and consistent support of the community.

Criteria: 

• Consistently helpful, fair, and approachable.
• Maintains a positive and safe community environment.
• Recognized by members for going above and beyond in their role.

9. Best Vault Build: Theme VeVe’s 5th Birthday

Celebrating creativity in the Vault, with builds themed around VeVe’s big 5th birthday milestone. Style, imagination, and storytelling will all count.

Criteria: 

• Creative vault design that celebrates VeVe’s 5th anniversary.
• Must use VeVe collectibles in an imaginative way.
• Presentation, theme alignment, and storytelling are key.
• Include a screenshot/s to help demonstrate why your nominee should be selected. 

10. Most Comic Sets on VeVe

For the true comic enthusiasts - the collector who’s stacked up the most complete comic sets on VeVe.

Criteria: The winner in this category will be selected based on VeVe data for Comic Sets held at 11.59 PM PT on 12 October 2025, so no nominations will be taken.  

11. Most Active User on VeVe

For the heartbeat of the community: someone who’s everywhere—engaging, collecting, trading, and bringing the VeVe fam together. 

Criteria: The winner in this category will be selected based on VeVe data for user activity inside the VeVe app from 12 AM PT on 1 January 2025 - 11.59 PM PT on 12 October 2025, so no nominations will be taken. User activity includes (but not limited to): making a purchase, listing an item on the market, engaging with AR, the showroom, VeVe Feed or Chat or reading a comic.

How the Nomination Process Works

You’ll have two weeks to nominate your picks for each category from when nominations open at 9 AM PT on the 11th September 2025. Once nominations close at 11.59 PM PT on the 25th September 2025, we will validate the nominations and select a short list of up to 5 nominees for each award category, based on the criteria detailed above.

When submitting, you’ll need to:

• Enter your VeVe username (to validate that you’re part of the community).
• Select the award category you would like to nominate for from the dropdown menu.
• Enter the VeVe username or social media handle of the person you’re nominating (must be a valid VeVe user).
• Write a short paragraph and/or attach a photo, screenshot or social media post to demonstrate why they deserve the award.
  
  

Rules to keep it fair:

• Only your first nomination in each category counts. If you submit more than once, we’ll keep your first entry and discard the rest.
• All nominations will be verified at the conclusion of the process, with any nominations that breach the guidelines set out in this blog being discarded.

How Voting Will Work

Once nominations are finalized, and the shortlist is determined for each category, you’ll get a chance to vote for your favorites. 

• You’ll need to enter your VeVe username to cast your vote.
• One vote per VeVe user per award category.
• To keep things fair, we may also invalidate any votes we determine may be designed to manipulate the voting process.
  
  

Winners & Prizes!

The winners of each category will be announced at our 5th birthday event at DCon in Las Vegas: 14 - 16 November. Each winner will receive a personalized physical VeVe trophy, plus a digital collectible version - a keepsake celebrating their contribution to this amazing community, and recognition across VeVe’s official channels. 

This is the first time we’re running the VeVe Community Awards, and we couldn’t be more excited to highlight the fans, collectors, creators, and community members who make VeVe what it is today.
