August has been an exciting month for VeVe and our community of collectors. In their latest business update, Co-Founders David and Dan unveiled three major new features: in-app chat, enhanced collectible displays, and a revamped search engine. Each is designed to make collecting on VeVe more intuitive and engaging. Together, they mark an important step in bringing fresh energy to the platform, helping collectors connect, showcase, and explore in new ways.
“My goal is to make VeVe fun again,” said COO Dan Crothers. “The app had started to drift, and these features are all about bringing back the excitement and improving the experience for everyone.”
One of the most requested community features has finally arrived: in-app chat. Collectors can now connect directly within VeVe, starting conversations or group chats without ever leaving the platform.
“This feature means collectors don’t have to jump to other platforms to connect,” explained Crothers. “You can create groups, share images, send links to collectibles, and talk directly within the app. It creates a stronger bridge between collectors.”
CEO David Yu added, “This feature should have been live sooner, but we’re glad it’s here now. In-app chat builds closer connections across the community and makes VeVe more engaging than ever.”
Alongside chat, VeVe has introduced enhanced product displays that give collectors a richer way to engage with every release. Product pages now feature high-resolution images and videos, along with AR previews and reveal trailers. Each of these changes is designed to bring collectibles to life before purchase.
“When you view a collectible, you’ll see multiple images and videos right on the product page,” said Crothers. “It’s about showing off the incredible work of our production team and making sure collectors can appreciate the detail.”
This update also brings essential information together in one place, including mint numbers, edition sizes, and burn data. “All the details, images, and videos live on the same page now,” said Corey Truax, Head of Content at VeVe. “Collectors no longer need to bounce between the blog, socials, and the app. Everything is right where you need it.”
The third major release tackles one of the most common community requests: a smarter, more reliable search. The rebuilt engine introduces broader keyword recognition, fuzzy logic, and improved filters, making it easier than ever for collectors to find exactly what they’re looking for.
“I’ll be honest, search on VeVe was never great,” admitted Crothers. “It was one of the most common complaints we heard from the community. Now, it’s completely refreshed. Search covers wider terms, results are more accurate, and filters are much more powerful. And this is only phase one—features like autocomplete are already in development.”
Each of these new features has been designed with one goal: to make VeVe fun again. By combining richer product displays, seamless in-app conversations, and an intuitive search experience, collectors can focus on what matters most: building collections they love and sharing that passion with others.
Yu summed it up: “We are prioritizing the features and experiences that truly add value to our community. Our focus is on strengthening the platform, delivering new technology, and keeping collectors at the heart of everything we do.”
These updates are live, but they’re only the beginning. VeVe’s roadmap continues to expand, with more refinements and new features on the horizon.
“There’s a lot of cool stuff in the pipeline,” said Crothers. “Collectors should get ready to have even more fun on VeVe.”
