Joe Madureira is known for his dynamic fusion of Western superhero art and Japanese manga style. Rising to prominence in the 90s on his highly acclaimed run on Uncanny X-Men, Joe's bold, kinetic style redefined the superhero aesthetic for the decade. His action-oriented style, stunning anatomy work, expressive characters, and cinematic storytelling brought a fresh new energy to some of the best known characters at Marvel Comics.
