The VeVe NFT marketplace is where collectors buy, sell, and discover digital collectibles, comics, and artworks on VeVe. It is the secondary market hub, meaning it’s where you go after drops to find items that are no longer available in the Store, or to list items from your own collection for other collectors to grab.
If you are new here, the key thing to know is this: the Marketplace is all about clarity and control. You can see edition details, rarity tier, and current pricing before you buy. And when you are ready to sell, you choose how you want to list, fixed price or auction, and you decide your strategy. If you want to start exploring what’s live right now, head into the VeVe Marketplace and browse listings for collectibles, comics, and artworks.
Gems are the in-app currency used on VeVe, and they are used for transactions within the VeVe NFT marketplace. When browsing listings, prices are displayed in Gems so collectors can clearly understand what an item is listed for before making a decision.
Using Gems creates a consistent pricing experience inside the app. It allows collectors to compare listings easily, track pricing over time, and decide whether to buy immediately or continue monitoring the marketplace.
Every collectible on VeVe is released with a fixed edition size. The edition number represents the total number of NFTs created for that collectible, and once all editions are issued, no additional NFTs are minted.
VeVe collectibles are released across rarity tiers ranging from Common, Uncommon, Rare, Ultra Rare, through Secret Rare. These tiers help distinguish how limited a collectible is relative to others within the same release. In addition, Special Editions are typically issued with extremely low edition counts and are clearly labeled in the marketplace.
Edition size and rarity act as reference points when browsing listings, helping collectors understand how a collectible was originally released and compare available options.
Digital collectibles listed in the VeVe NFT marketplace are NFTs that collectors choose to list from their own collections. Once a collectible is live on VeVe, users may also list that item in the marketplace for others to browse and purchase.
Each listing displays key details such as the collectible name, edition number, rarity tier, and listed price. Collectors can browse current listings, sort by price, and review edition numbers before deciding whether to buy or continue watching the marketplace.
Digital comics listed in the VeVe NFT marketplace are individual comic book NFTs that collectors can buy and sell. Each comic issue is released across multiple rarity tiers, with each rarity featuring a different cover variant tied to the same issue.
Marketplace listings show the comic title, cover variant, edition number, rarity tier, and listed price, allowing collectors to compare specific versions of the same issue. All digital comics on VeVe are fully readable, and collectors can read the complete issue directly in the app. VeVe also offers AR comic reading features, providing an additional way to experience comic content.
Artworks listed in the VeVe NFT marketplace are typically released as single-edition NFTs, with each piece issued as edition #1. Unlike standard collectibles or comics, there are no multiple editions of the same artwork.
These releases can feature a wide range of artists, and the rarity classification for Artwork releases is labeled as Artist Proof. Artworks are typically sold through a silent auction format, where bids are placed privately and the highest bidder wins when the auction concludes.
Auctions in the VeVe NFT marketplace allow NFTs to be listed for sale without a fixed price. When an auction is created, it runs for a 24 hour duration, during which buyers can place bids.
Auction listings display the current highest bid and the remaining time. Once the auction ends, the highest bid wins and the transaction is completed automatically.
To list an NFT for sale in the VeVe NFT marketplace, you select a collectible, comic, or artwork from your collection and choose Sell. From there, you decide whether to create a fixed price listing or an auction.
For fixed price listings, you set a price in Gems. The interface shows the current floor price for reference, the marketplace success fee, and the exact amount you will receive once the NFT sells. Fixed price listings remain active for up to 30 days and are removed automatically if they do not sell.
For auctions, you set a starting bid and confirm the listing. Auctions run for 24 hours, and once a bid is placed, the auction cannot be edited or stopped. When the auction ends, the highest bid wins and settlement happens automatically, with fees applied.
Before any listing goes live, the VeVe NFT marketplace clearly displays fees and payout details so sellers understand exactly how the listing will work.
In addition to listing NFTs for sale in the VeVe NFT marketplace using Gems, collectors can also choose to list items on StackR for OMI. StackR is an external marketplace connected to the VeVe ecosystem that allows NFTs to be listed and sold using the OMI cryptocurrency, offering an alternative way to engage with listings outside of the app.
OMI is the utility token that supports the VeVe ecosystem. It plays a role behind the scenes in powering parts of the platform and related experiences that connect collecting activity across VeVe.
OMI is also used in external integrations such as StackR, where NFTs can be listed using cryptocurrency instead of Gems. While OMI operates separately from the in-app marketplace, it remains a core component of the broader VeVe ecosystem.
The Master Collector Program, or MCP, is designed to recognize ongoing participation across VeVe. Activity in the VeVe NFT marketplace, along with collecting, completing sets, and engaging with the app, can contribute toward overall MCP progress as points accrue over time.
MCP progress can be used to unlock benefits within VeVe, including improved chances for landing new drops. As the program evolves, MCP is intended to reward consistent engagement and long-term participation rather than isolated actions.
The VeVe NFT marketplace gives collectors a centralized place to browse listings, list items from their own collection, and engage with digital collectibles, comics, and artworks already circulating on the platform, with clear pricing, flexible listing options, and full control over how and when they participate.
