Earning Points

Here’s the good stuff. You’ve been building up your collection, bit by bit, either by hitting drops or making savvy Market moves. You’ve been active in the Feed, taking pics with your collectibles in AR and arranging all your prized digital collectibles in your Showroom…but how many MCP Points is everything worth? How is your Points total benefiting from all those completed Sets? Here are all the ways to earn Master Collector Points!

How To Earn Points

• One-off Bonus Points
• Daily Collectible Points
• Daily Comic Points
• Daily Activity Points
• OMI Reward Tier Bonus Points

One-Off Bonus Points

One-off Points are earned a single time for a specific action:

• 100 Points when completing new user onboarding
• 100 Points Received when completing a Set
• 25 Points when purchasing collectibles in the Store
• 15 Points when purchasing collectibles in the Market

Daily Points - Collectibles

‍You earn daily Points for each collectible in your collection and your completed sets. Daily Points are calculated every 24hrs.

Points Earned for Collectibles

• 1.0 Points is given for each Collectible owned
  ‍‍

If duplicate Collectibles are owned, these are subject to diminishing Points:

• 2nd Collectible: 0.75 Points
• 3rd Collectible: 0.35 Points
• 4 Collectibles or more: 0.10 Points
  ‍‍

Collectible Bonus Points
‍Collectibles of specific rarities and/or mints will receive bonus Points

Rarity Bonus Points:‍

• 0.25 Points: Rare
• 0.50 Points: Ultra Rare
• 5.00 Points: Secret Rare

Low Edition Bonus:

• 0.5 Points: Points earned for the 5% lowest mints available to the public (total editions *0.05%),(excludes any Collectibles retained by VeVe)

‍Collectible Set Points:
As Sets offer a varying number of collectibles, Points earned are based on the number of Collectibles in the Set:

• 5.0 Points: 5 Collectibles or more
• 4.0 Points: 4 Collectibles
• 3.0 Points: 3 Collectibles
• 2.0 Points: 2 Collectibles
• 1.0 Points: 1 Collectible

Duplicate Set Points:
‍If you own more than one of the same Set, additional Sets are subject to diminishing Points:

• 2nd set: 30% Points of Set Points
• 3rd set: 20% Points of Set Points
• 4th set or more: 10% Points of Set Points

For Example, if you own two (2) Superman collectible Sets, you would get 1.3 Points daily (1 Superman = 1.0 Points, 2nd Superman = .30 Points, etc.).

Daily Points - Comics

Daily Comic Points
Comic Points are earned based on the rarity of the Comic  cover, for example 0.25 Points for a Common and 6.0 points for a Secret Rare:

• Common: 0.25 points
• Uncommon: 0.5 points
• Rare: 2.0 points
• Ultra Rare: 3.0 points
• Secret Rare: 6.0 points

Duplicate Comics:
If you own duplicate Comics covers, these are subject to diminishing Points
- Excluding Common and Uncommon.

• 2nd: 50% of the Daily Points
• 3rd: 25% of the Daily Points
• 4 or more: 10% of the Daily Points

Comics Low Edition Bonus:

• 50% Points earned for the 5% lowest mint Comic available to the public (total editions *0.05%), (excludes any Comics retained by VeVe).

Daily Activity Points

• 1 Point is received for in-app activities- In-app activities will have a maximum limit of 25 Points per day‍
• Activities include daily app opens, sharing, commenting, liking, purchasing, Market listings and more.

OMI Reward Tier Bonus Points

VeVe collectors can supercharge their daily Points earned by participating in OMI Reward Tiers. In Reward Tier Season Zero, users must ensure their OMI tokens are bridged (deposited) to Layer 2 and transferred to their VeVe wallets. 

MCP Point Rewards will be calculated daily based on the number of eligible OMI tokens in the user's VeVe wallet over the previous 24 hours. A maximum of 10 million OMI tokens will be eligible for bonus Point rewards in Season Zero, and the number of daily Points received will depend on the number of OMI they own relative to the total Points allocated in the reward pool.

Additional Point Notes

• Daily Points stop accruing after 7 days of inactivity (e.g. you don't open VeVe 😢)
• Daily Points are calculated and applied once per 24 hour period at a set time each day

Where do I see my Points?
‍Your MCP Level Points are displayed on your Profile page in the VeVe web app and mobile apps.
